(1Co 1:21)  For since, in the wisdom of Elohim, the world through wisdom did not know Elohim, it pleased Elohim through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. (The Scriptures Version, 2009.)

Many versions of scripture interprets (mōria)  as foolishness. This Greek word actually has three ways to be interpreted. In most lexicons, (such as Thayer’s Greek lexicon) the primary synonym listed is silliness.  This describes a different type of reaction from a listening audience than foolishness.  Reacting to foolishness is disregarding the messenger as ignorant, indeed stupid.  Reacting to silliness is perceiving an absurdity or even a wonder that what is said is outside of logical sense.  This is a much closer definition to the concept of the Greek word.  Greeks will further consider something appearing illogical.  For it may just be logical once it is pondered further, as Sha’ ul would even cause Greeks to consider their empty altar dedicated to “the unknown God.” The Greeks listened to the silliness, just as it seemed silly on their part to have an altar to a God they did not know.  And that is how we came to have our title for this section.  Absurdity connects one to deep considerations about Truth and Life.

To hear Elohim through His servants is a great blessing. A fully submitted man or woman letting The Ruach's (The Spirit's) voice and thoughts flow out from their mouths. This may seem to be silly or absurd, but it is needful for us all. In this area, we present and join in the chorus of voices in these last days for the Glory of Yahushua the Ben Elohim of the Kingdom of Yahuwah. Servants who will Glorify The King of all Kings.
